“Purvciema projekts” – an estate of blocks of flats in Riga.

Award : “Best New Project” 2007 received 2nd place in the category “Best project of the building in a residential area”.

The buildins were situated around making a calm place for living in a big city. The architects designed a cosy park with resting areas and playgrounds for children inside the block.

A complex of residential homes in Riga has been designed. It was desired to create an inviting residential space in the residential neighbourhood. That’s why the buildings are laid out in a circle, with a park designed between them, featuring recreational zones, paths, and playgrounds.
